No, soy cheese is not a raw food.
If you are lookng for a commercially prepared raw vegan cheese, go to

This outfit makes very delicious raw vegan cheese from nuts and seeds.
If you want to make your own raw vegan cheese, there is a good recipe in Ani Phyo's book "Ani Phyo's Raw Kitchen", and there is a superior raw vegan "solid cheese" which can be made to taste like either cream cheese or boursin cheese in Charlie Trotter's book "Raw" (this recipe alone is worth the price I paid for the book!)
My own favorite Cheddar Cheez recipe is as follows:
1/3 lg red or orange bell pepper, juice of one lemon, 1 C raw cashews, 1 T onion powder, 1 t sea salt or celtic sea salt, 1 T chili seasoning (optional), enough water to process
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Add more water if necessary (for a thicker cheese, use less water)
Use this for dips, spreads, or even salad dressing.
Ooo prettysmartone, that sounds good!
I don't know if nutritional yeast is considered "raw," but I like to add that to anything cheezy.
