Another great way to start your raw journey is through green smoothies.  I found this to be rather fun and easy, not to mention tasting great!  Even the kids got in on the fun of it and you can make a meal in a glass that is nutricious, easy to digest and has loads of health benefits, including detoxing.  Here is a site to get more free information: http://www.greensmoothiequeen.com/en/smoothie-programs/free3
