Have people been experiencing hair loss on raw food diet? If so, for how long? And is there anything to be done to curb it?

It has been suggested that hair loss is associated with low protein intake.  Several people who have documented their own early experiences with raw vegan diet noted that their protein intake had generally been lower than 25 grams per day, and that, when they raised the amount of protein they were consuming, the hair loss issue abated.

I would incorporate more greens into your diet which according to PrettySmartOne is the right thing to do since greens contain amino acids :)

I haven't had hair loss myself and those with a diet high in greens usually are ok.  I eat at least a 1lb of spinach/lettuce a day though - usually have some in a green smoothie.
