As I was meditating this morning I was taken on a journey by my Guides. I won't go into a lot of details here but the lesson was worth sharing.
When something devastating comes into our lives - whatever it is. Whether it's a hurricane, tornado, flood, loss of job, divorce, death... anything that turns our world upside down and inside out and we aren't even sure which way is up anymore... don't fight it. There is no need to struggle. Just simply go with the flow. The energy has come into your life at this time to move you in a different direction. The energy is taking you there and when we fight it, when we hold on and refuse to let go - we simply make the process more drawn out and difficult on ourselves. The energy has no emotion, it doesn't care that we are upset, feeling a loss, devastated. All it cares about it moving us to a new space and (whether we like it or not) we are going to move!
When these things happen, of course you have to grieve (the loss of your job, marriage, loved one) - allow yourself to do this, but while you are allowing yourself this time... let go.
Let go of everything and simply float in the waters of life.
Imagine that life is an ocean. Diversity is the waves. You cannot take the wave out of the water and you cannot take the water out of the wave. So rather than holding onto where you were - release your emotional and mental grasp on things. Open your heart and mind to the change which is taking place and trust that this
is for your greatest good.
Visualize yourself on your back in the water. Looking up at the sky... just floating. Focus on the sky, not on the journey... just on the sky. (The sky is your centre.) Allow the energy (water) to move you to where you need to be. Try to enjoy the ride by focusing on the sky and it's beauty. Even storm clouds are magnificent if you take the time to really look at their depth of shades and texture.
And breathe. Remember to breathe!
I believe you'll find your journey through this difficult time much easier. Yes there will be dark days - this is what transition often is, but if you stay centred and breathing and relaxed you'll find the journey wasn't as difficult as you could have made it.
We do create our reality. We decide if something said to us is going to harm us or simply slide off our back. We decide what 'story' we'll attach to any given situation. As Byron Katie teaches... let go of the story and allow the truth to shine.
I hope my ramblings assist you in some way. If not... ignore them. Take what you like and leave the rest is a great way to live our lives!
in light,
Aleesha
