I’ve been debating for a few days with myself what detox to do and for how long. I’ve chosen to do my second favourite detox, the blessed herbs colon cleanse being my first. It’s renew life’s paragone cleanse designed with the traveller in mind, which is handy for me as I fly back to Canada before I finish the course. Its capsules and drops packed full of wonderful herbness. Why is it wonderful; it provides powerful anti-parasitic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-yeast support. Supports healthy balance of intestinal microflora in digestive tract and assists elimination of parasites from body. It runs about £30 in the UK and about $40 in the US. Well worth it in my opinion.
Along with cleansing kit I’m going to be really up my green juice intake, I have green juice every morning but for the next fifteen days I’m going to have around 48 ounces a day. I swear by Natalia rose recipe for green lemonade which contains romaine, kale, green apples, lemon and ginger. Natalia detox books are totally worth picking up I love The Raw Food Detox Diet. I also add a product from pukka herbs to it called clean greens, this isn't normally one of the green based supplements favoured by people in the raw food community but I think it kicks ass. On top of this wonderful green juice I’ll be having a salad in the evening, with hemp seeds and hemp seed oil to make sure I’m getting enough essential fatty acids, I’ll be adding seaweed for mineral rich hit.
Plus lots of super yummy herbal tea’s a lovely detox blend that has Aniseed and fennel seed help to relax digestion and flush the urinary system. Cardamom seeds can help to clear excess mucus. Coriander and celery seed help to wash toxins from the body plus licorice root which is calming and tonifying. I’ll also be having lots of peppermint and ginger teas.
That's my next 10 days hope everyone having a lovely start to the year
