almond garlic basil bread

LIVE Almond Garlic Basil Bread
3 cups Raw Soaked Almonds
1/4-1/2 cup First Cold Pressed Olive Oil
1/2 cup Fresh Basil, loosely packed
1 large clove Fresh Garlic
1 tsp. Sea Salt

In a food processor fitted with the S blade, break down the Garlic. Add Almonds and Salt. Blend until a crumbly meal forms. While running, add the Oil slowly until a sticky consistency (ball) is formed. Pulse in Fresh Basil until well integrated. Do not over mix the Basil. Spread mixture onto a Teflex sheet 1/4 inch thick. Transfer to mesh screen and score into squares. Dehydrate at 105 degrees for 4-6 hours.

You can make this bread w/ any herbs you like. Try Rosemary or Onion in place of the Garlic and Basil next time. The bread came out deliciously oily and slightly crumbly. You may want to add 1Tbs of Flax Meal or Chia Seeds to act as a binder and reduce the Oil if desired. Watch the amount of Garlic, less is more in this case.

Double the measurements to make a full Teflex Sheet.
