(90-Day Detox) Day 48: Commit To Having an Amazing Week!

Posted Apr 06 2009 8:18pm

What a guy! I just finished up the call with Brendan and he is really a gem of a gem of a guy.

You can listen to it here in case you missed it. I tried to keep it short because I know he’s busy and we’re busy and you know how it goes… For those of us who like sports, he had some very exciting news at the end of the call! Can’t wait until we have Vega sponsored running events and stuff. ;-) Take the time to play this in the background and then sign up for the FREE 30-Day program he put out on the internet. He recorded all these videos himself and edited them, too. I think it’s pretty neat to get the chance to see more about a person when they do this kind of work. Anyway, you can check it out at ThriveIn30.com and let me know what you think!

This is a big week.

I guess today is Monday, so that means it’s the day to renew our commitments. What are yours? How did you do?

Last week I said this was my commitment:

My commitment: To accept the possibility that life could get EVEN BETTER than this, that I DO deserve all the magic I can possibly create for myself and more. Then I’m going to do whatever it takes to allow  that  to happen.

I kept that in my mind and in my being throughout the week. I think I’m living it, but some things will show up with time, I suppose. I sure love my life. I feel great. I feel happy. I love what I do. I keep trying to take the top off what’s possible for myself. It’s working…

So this week… this week I commit to keeping my commitments.

Last week I was really proud of myself for saying, “No!” in a situation I would have said “yes” to in the past. I could feel it was going to take more energy than it gave and so I put my foot down and that felt GREAT!

But I can see a few things on my to do list that are slipping away from me and I really need to buckle down this week and get serious. Relatively speaking, of course. I don’t believe in taking life TOO seriously. I think it’s supposed to be a game–to be enjoyed. Which doesn’t mean irresponsibility or laissez-faire attitudes. I’m not talking about self-absorbed hedonism as much as I am the idea that we can enjoy the adventure of life without getting too serious about it.

Anyway, this is my week to buckle down, put in some mega marthon working hours and make things go right where I may have slacked off a bit recently.

I have another super inspiring teleseminar guest TOMORROW! I’m really packing them in here, it seems, and having a great time doing it.

Anyway, I will get busy and post that right away so that you all know what’s coming.

More soon!

Love and April rain,

Tera

P.S. Don’t Forget to post your commitments below! YES, YOU!! You KNOW that makes the chances of you following through WAY higher. You go, Girl! What are YOU going to commit to this week? Choose for yourself. Keep it realistic, but inspiring. You can do it!!!!
