Jumping rope adds more to staying fit and playing a better game of RB because jumping rope improves your rhythm, cardiovascular system, lung capacity and stamina.

Starting out at 10-minute intervals with one minute skipping rope and another marching in place enhances your physical capabilites to play even better. As you improve your ability to jump rope, you can take out the intervals and go 10 minutes straight. Wow!

Any workout augmented with another kind of physical activity or sticking to a variety of activities is best for the body. Jump roping adds more in a playful and aerobic way while improving your RB game.

I never thought of jumping rope as a rhythm improver. I wonder if it helps with dance moves... Anyone?
