What Is A Gestational Carrier?

If you have ever considered being a surrogate mother this may be for you. Many women would love to be a surrogate mother but shy away because they don’t know if they could give up a child genetically related to themselves. As a gestational carrier the child you carry is not related to you or your children. The baby you carry is in most cases related to the intended parents who can not carry a baby themselves for a variety of reasons. You are a safe and loving space for the intended parents baby to grow.

You have a voice in who you choose to help. In most cases you develop a relationship with the intended parents. You talk on a regular basis and when ever possible they will come with you to doctors appointments, ultra-sounds and for the birth of the child.

While you are helping the couple you also have the opportunity to help your family to reach some of your own goals such as saving for your children's education, return to school yourself or replace that old car.
