which blood pressure meds are safe to take during pregnancy?

Posted by tine

I have a history of high blood pressure and was taking Micardis HCT.  My doctor switched my meds to Mytholdopa when I told him we were tryng to conceive.  I was having too many problems with the Methyldopa, so he switched my meds to Bystolic yesterday.  Is this medication safe to take during pregnancy?  Are there any other medications you can recommend as my doctor is not sure what is safe?

It would be best to ask a pharmacist- walmart, target, walgreens, etc.  They would know best what to recommend
