what is this thick flesh like brown ovulation discharge i am experiencing. and how can i make it go away.

yes i have been trying to conceive for a year now i know that I should be going to see a fertility specialist to see whats going on,  i am also a mother of 2 grown adults, i know because of my age it will be less likely that i would conceive being that i am already  42 years old. My question is, for the last 2 months i have been experiencing during what suppose to be a time of trying during ovulation a miserable time having all this discharge. I have been having a lot of thick flesh like brown discharge. Its really bothering me and my doctors appointment ain't for another 2 weeks and was hoping somebody could tell me whats going on in my body without actually seeing a docter, it usually last until a few days prior to my regular mentrual and i also wanted to know is this brown discharge preventing me from conceiving. It only comes during ovulation and does not have any oder to it, it does look like some kind of skin or flesh and it just comes out in the toilet in quater size ammounts, and when i wipe myself it looks like jello and feels like it too. Hope i can get an answer soon before i go to the docter. Does it have anything to do with menopause, estrogen and progestorone? Help me please. Thank you

well I finally made it to my doctors appointment without getting any helpful information from anyone, i was feeling something was wrong with me for no reason. Doctor did all test and turns out there is nothing wrong with me. He did  say that this happens to many women and not to worry it should go away, that it was old blood from my last menstrual since my last two have been very light. But he did say that i am a healthy 42 year old and that if i was planning to conceive that it wouldn't cause any problems. So thanks for nothing everyone.
