I had bright red bleeding aftera bowel movement. This has happed right before I start my period for the past 2 months. I am sure it is vaginal bleeding. After a little while it turned into brown discharge. The day after I am not spotting, nothing on tissue after i wipe, but when I insert a tampon there is some brown discharge on it.. I am TTC for 6 months and I have never had an STD
Bleeding after a bowel movement can be from hemorrhoids even though you really think it came from the vagina...the other blood could have been a part of your period cycle. I would make an appointment with my OB just to make sure.
