Welcome to National Infertility Awareness Week 2014!

Posted Apr 20 2014 1:37pm

I can’t believe this will be my fifth National Infertility Awareness Week. But for RESOLVE, it’s an even bigger milestone: NIAW celebrates its 25th anniversary this year!

National Infertility Awareness Week

Here at The Infertility Voice, I have a number of ways that you can get involved this year and help raise awareness for the 7.3 million people living with infertility in the United States, including:

Blog posts every day this week, featuring interviews from colleagues and friends from the infertility community.
The theme of this year’s NIAW is “Resolve to know more about…” I’m choosing to answer this in 6 blog posts this week, with interviews from dear friends and colleagues I’ve met in the last five years on my own infertility journey. The full schedule of interviews will go live tomorrow, as well as how I choose to respond to this year’s theme! Come back every day for a fresh new post.

Join me for a Twitter chat with WEGO Health about infertility awareness this Tuesday, April 22 at 3pm EST.
I’m thrilled to be leading a Twitter chat about infertility awareness with WEGO Health , as part of their weekly #hachat Health Activist Twitter chats. Head on over to Twitter or Tweet Chat this Tuesday at 3pm to join in and share your voice about your infertility experiences.

Change your Facebook Timeline Cover to raise awareness with my NEW set of images for NIAW this year!
Just uploaded them this morning. Download your NIAW Facebook Timeline Covers here. New for 2014? No more dates… so you can use them from year to year! I’ll be adding a new, fresh batch of covers without dates to this page every year. Looking forward to watching this collection grow.

Want to know more about NIAW? Check out my NIAW article at or head to RESOLVE’s website to learn more.

Let’s make the 25th anniversary of #NIAW the biggest one yet.
