Vaginal Spotting or Bleeding

Posted Apr 05 2010 12:00am
We all know that vaginal spotting or bleeding is usually the first sign of miscarriage. However, not all pregnant women having some bleeding or spotting in early pregnancy end up in miscarriage. You might feel abdominal pain. You may also feel crampy or persistent, mild or sharp, or may feel more like low back pain or pelvic pressure.

Did you know that vaginal bleeding or spotting is also a sign of ectopic or a molar pregnancy? You must call your health care provider immediately so that she may detect any problems with your pregnancy.
