Today, I am still pregnant. I have decided that I will remain OPTIMISTIC throughout this pregnancy. I am not saying that I won't have my moments of complete insanity, but I will have positive thoughts about the outcome. I cannot live life worrying every minute of every day that something bad will happen.
When fellow
bloggers found out they were pregnant, I would over-analyze every little symptom they had to compare theirs to mine during the
TWW. All I can say is that I cannot really pinpoint anything that was different this cycle than the others. The one thing that I noticed was my skin became really sensitive and easily irritated. This has happened before, but it was more severe this cycle about 4 days before I got my positive. I had a small spot on my stomach that looked like
exce.ma (according to J because he sometimes has
exce.ma during the winter). I also
brokeout in small hives on my back, arms, and stomach. They would not last long, but my skin would start itching then I would look and there were the little bumps. Other than that I had every "normal"
TWW symptom which means that I had every pregnancy symptom!
TINA'S PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS:BBs On our trip, I noticed that my
BBs increased in soreness and size in a few days. I mean they are painful. Now (a week later) there are times that I want to cry they hurt so much. I am sleeping on my back right now (I am a typical side-sleeper), and when I wake up in the morning and follow my natural tendency to roll on my side, the pain shoots through my boobs. It feels like my heart palpitates the pain is so intense. It sucks when I just want to roll over and get back to sleep. I have to go tomorrow to buy new bras. I need bigger ones with more support! Bring on the granny bras -
WWHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!! I LOVE IT!
Cramps I also have had cramps since for a little over a week. The first ones I felt I immediately would run to the bathroom afraid AF had arrived. Thankfully she has not showed. There have been some intense cramps, but those are quick and I am attributing that to the little
patoot getting all settled into his nine month temporary home! I also have dull cramps, these usually last for a little while. Last Friday was the worst of the cramps. I had dull, mild cramps the majority of the afternoon. Towards the end of the work day I noticed that they had gotten worse. So I made the decision to
forgo the first night of my 10-year reunion. I just didn't want to push it. We have not slowed down since we found out we might be pregnant. So we laid low and saved my energy for the big night on Saturday. Since then my cramps have subsided
tremendously. I still have some, but they last a minute then go away!
CM I know y'all have been sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for this update. I will keep it brief and not too gross. I will just let y'all know there has been a lot. Sometimes it can feel as though I've wet my pants. So again, I run to the bathroom thinking it could be all over. But I do know this is a good sign!
Nausea I know its way early but I have had a few moments. It started out where I was burping a lot. Just like my stomach was a little upset. Over a few days it had progressed a little. When I had nothing in my stomach, I would get
nauseous. Eating a little would help. Today driving the hour back from my parents was the worst. I was having waves and waves of nausea. Bad nausea. There were two times I was at the point to get J to pull over, but then it passed. So now I will be driving. After eating a full meal, it subsided (
thank goodness;)!
Fatigue I have my moments but not that bad. There are times (especially in the afternoon) where I could fall asleep standing up. I am sleeping really well at night though which has been GREAT!
I hope that none of this comes across as me complaining. I just want to let y'all know what is happening with us. I am loving EVERY MINUTE of this.
