Sex before Period, after finish a pack of birth control pill. Pregnant?

I finished the last pack of pill on August 14 and my husband and I had sex on August 15. My period came on August 17, which was lighter than usual but still last about 3-4 days. Could I ovulate right after finishing the birth control pill and get pregnant, and still get a period? Thank you.

Yes I did - I took it on August 22 after the period was finished. It was negative. Have I waited long enough to do the test? Thank you.

Best bet would be to test 14 days past ovulation... in this particular case... from when you had unprotected sex
