Medical News Today-Recurrent Miscarriage Risk Higher For Obese Women

BBC News
-Obesity 'raises miscarriage risk'

I *love* news articles like this. Every couple of months a study comes out stating that miscarriages happen more frequently to overweight and/or obese women. They never explain any concrete reason as to why this occurs. Somewhere in the article, the inevitable solution is stated: if these women lost weight, they probably wouldn't have any more miscarriages. Why is that? You don't know why they are miscarrying. How could you possibly know what will fix the problem. Bottom line - doctors hate fat people.
