While Christmas shopping in New Hope, PA, the husband and I stopped at House of Coffee. We both had mochaccinos and he had a chocolate stuffed croissant. I took a bite and it was very, very good.
On the way home from Christmas shopping we stopped at Red Robin. I had a bowl of the Clamdigger's Clam Chowder and the A1 Peppercorn Cheeseburger. The soup wasn't the best, but the burger was delicious.
For my birthday, my parents took the husband and I to Shogun: Legends. We had drinks and sushi at the bar and then hibachi for dinner. The sushi was fantastic. We tried 4 different kinds, all off menu specials of the day. For drinks, my mother and I split a Hawaiian Love Bowl. It was huge and on fire. Upstairs we had dinner. The three of them had lobster tail and filet mignon hibachi while I had salmon and filet mignon. It was an experience, but the food was bland. For dessert I had chocolate ice cream tempura, which was huge. I've had fried ice cream before and loved it, but this time it wasn't very good.
We've been to Five Guys twice in December since it was so good. The first time I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo. I got onions instead of ketchup, but it was still very good. I got large Cajun fries that were huge and zesty, but soggy. The second time we went my burger was perfect, exactly as ordered. I got regular size Cajun fries which were still pretty big and a little more crisp than the last visit. The burgers here are so good and since they are close, I can see us going there often.
