If you’ve ever struggled with depression and have been successfully treated, your story could be a source of inspiration for others.
National Depression Screening Day (NDSD) is October 8, 2009. The NDSD office is launching a media campaign for this year’s program, which promotes prevention, early detection, and treatment of depression and related mental health conditions by offering free screenings and resources to the public. We are looking for people in the US who have suffered from depression, anxiety, or a related condition and would be interested in sharing their personal stories with the media. Your experiences can encourage others to seek help. If you live in the US and are willing to share your story, please contact:
Christina Collins Screening for Mental Health, Inc. firstname.lastname@example.org
Our communications department will provide all the support needed for those willing to participate. Thank you for your help. We hope to hear from you soon! For more information on National Depression Screening Day, go to www.mentalhealthscreening.org.
