Is it save for the baby if I ask for a higher dosage of Zofran?

I am 7 weeks pregnant and have horrible morning sickness and no appetite. My doctor gave me the generic form of Zofran (4mg) but I'm not feeling any better. I'm not vomiting anymore but I still feel horrible and has no appetite or energy. Is it save for the baby if I ask for a higher dosage?

I would go ahead and ask- there isn't any harm in that and your doc will let you know what is safe and what isn't
