The above answer is complete and accurate. From an experience perspective, one of my babies was quite fussy and slept very little. As a result, I became overtired and anxious. My family doctor recommended that I drink one beer in the evening, after dinner, to encourage milk production and relieve the tension. I was surprised, but it worked. Of course, had I any history of alcohol abuse, this would never have been suggested.
I totally agree with total health team that during pregnancy or breast feeding, one needs to take proper care on their drinking & eating habit. Since wrong eating ways can have adverse effect on health or mind of the new born.
