Is it possible to be pregnant and test positive only once in 12 tests? the positive test was #6 (in the middle).

I'm 4 weeks late for my period and I started taking tests the first day. I've taken in total 12 tests. first 5 negative. #6 was positive (digital) the other 6 negative.

The positive result I got was with morning pee, and digital. I went to the "professionals" that day for another test, and that came up Negative. I have used many different (name brand) types of tests, Repeated testing with morning pee and still got negatives. What could have caused that one positive?

I do have an appointment with my doctor for a blood test next week, it's as soon as he could fit me it.

it could've been a chemical pregnancy or blighted ovum..both would produce hCG but not for very long.

There really isn't much I can offer as far as info goes- the best theory would come from your physian
