is it normal to have tingling sensation in lower abdomen at 8 weeks pregnant

my LMP was on the 4th of sept, doctors says i am 8 weeks pregnant, but the scan says i am just 5 weeks and some days gone, coupled with the fact that i have been spotting but with no abdominal pain or cramping, just a tingling sensation that comes and goes. is this normal?
