I think I am about 5 weeks pregnant. I just experienced some slight brown spotting. Is this OK?

I have not seen my doctor yet, I am just worried of miscarriage. She wants me to wait and schedule after August 25. I have also been having diarrhea this morning. I am just wondering if all of this is normal. I am guessing I am in my 5th week.

Hi there - brown spotting while worriesome can be nothing more than implantation bleeding. Brown = old blood. Red blood = active bleeding. I'd make sure you are drinking oodles of water - 96 ounces a day. Rest when you can. And call your doctor if your bleeding becomes red or if you have pain.
