ok thanks because everyone has been telling me two weeks afte your missed period and all these medical shows say that..i just want to do the right thing ... so ill try to go take a test early or go get blood cause that will be more accurate when your still early...because if you take it to early the hormones wont show up all the wya in a home test and the bllod usually can take it all depending on how long into it you are..but thanks for the advice much appreciated....

Some of the test made today can detect hCG as low as 5. Blood betas can detect hCG as low as .85 (which is my own personal experience). The level of hormones by the time you miss a period are high enough (usually in the hundreds if not in the thousands) that the home pregnancy test is just as accurate as a blood beta draw.

Do what you feel most comfortable with and is most affordable.
