I missed my last months period. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Are there risks getting pregnant after a missed p

I have an 11 month old son and have been breastfeeding (I've only been nursing 2x a day for the past couple months, now only once, trying to wean).  My period returned a 3 months ago and was regular twice in a row.  Last month's period did not come - however I started working out more, and I assume this is why my period didn't come.

My husband and I want to get pregnant this month.  I'm just wondering if there could be any problems since my period is now irregular.

the problem with irregular periods is pin pointing when ovulation happens.  A woman is only fertile about 5 days of her cycle (three days prior to, the day of and day following ovulation) and so intercourse should be timed within those days for highest chance of conception
Correction: Irregular cycles...not irregular periods
