I'm 2months pregnant and I'm having serious heartburn,what should I take to stop the heartburns

According to my doctor, you can take an antacid such as Tums throughout pregnancy.  Drinking milk will also help.

My doctor told me that relying on Tums would cause gastrin because of all the extra calcium. And that I'd need to keep popping them.  He told me to use Gingera instead and if I couldn't find that then I should use Brioschi.  

 Briosch was staple in my house when I was growing up. It's helped me with morning sickness, completely.
