I had a 3 day embryo transfer on the 23rd, how long does it take to implant? I am having cramping here and there. This is my 4t

Posted by GinaLin

My 4th IVF attempt.  No problems with fertilization, they just don't seem to implant.  Doctor went with transferring 3 embryos this time as well, doing a 3 day transfer.  I've had cramping off and on since the 4th day after transfer and I would like to know when does implantation begin?

Did you do a fresh IVF cycle or is this a FET?

There can be cramping with the procedure in and of itself.  The range for implantation is (I believe) 7-12 DPO for a natural cycle.  Some women implant sooner than that but with transfers I am not entirely sure how it works as far as implantation.

I would say that you should be able to test at home at 9dp3dt (9 days past 3 day transfer).
