For Mariah's two month doctor's visit. It was pretty standard stuff. Her stats at exactly 10 weeks: weight: 9 lbs 13 oz (~25 percentile); height 21.5 in (~15th percentile); head circumference: 37.3 cm (~10th percentile). She's such a tiny little peanut. But she's textbook at staying on her growth curve so there are no concerns about her small size. Everything else looks great as well. The doctor even substantiated our claim that she has great head control -- she said Mariah is on par with the four month olds. And she's anxious to put that skill to work as she has rolled from belly to back a few times. The appointment was also her first vaccines. She screamed for a few minutes after the shots but that was the worst of it. She was a little extra sleepy and fussy yesterday, but she seems back to normal today.
As for my postpartum recovery, the scale seems to have hit a bit of a plateau. I've only lost a couple of pounds in the last few weeks. But, increasing portions of my wardrobe are fitting again -- including the all important work wardrobe so I guess I can't really complain. I am losing pregnancy fat, even if not pregnancy weight. I can't wait to get back into a consistent work out routine though -- these last few pounds are driving me mad.
