I am 36 pregnant and got alot of vaginal discharge what could it be?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and been having a lot thick yellowish mucus discharge within the past few days, pretty frequently. Is that a sign I might be in labor soon? I have 3 other children and never experienced this before.
