Having signs of pregnancy but havent missed a period

Posted by Mom04

Hi

I have been having signs and symptons of pregnancy that i had with other  pregnancies. I have headaches, intergestion, lower back pain, fatigue, bleeding gum, increased appitite, pulling in the lower abdomin and the inability to exercise just to name a few. Well here is the twist. I came on my period but it is not like it normally is. I am a heavy bleeder and to give you a picture for the past three days i have used 6 tampons. It is very light in color and I have used on in the morning and  one at night before bed. I took a  pregnancy test because i had to go to the er a couple of days ago but it came back negative. Is  that because i havent actually missed a period yet?

pregnancy tests are very senstive these days- some being able to accurately detect a pregnancy as early as 8 days past ovulation.

At what point in your cycle were you when you took the pregnancy test?

Hi, I am 5- 6 days past ovulation,  and have been feeling  very pregnant every since. My breasts started getting VERY tender on the sides and now that that seems to have calmed down a bit (still sensitive just not as bad) my nipples are very very sore but dont have any color change what so ever, they just look a bit bigger and a little poofy. I have also been having light cramping on and off through out the day, and i keep expecting my period which is due one the 30th of this month. Feeling kind of bloated and gassy, definetly constipated but took a test this morning and it was negative. Again i am 5-6 dpo and expecting period in 9 days. Is there a chance that I am pregnant? Unprotected sex about 15 times this month. Mostly pull-out method but I hear that isnt as effective as we hear it to be. Please let me know, I would love to be pregnant and I'm having such a hard time waiting!

First... the "pullout" method is the absolute least reliable form of birth control becasue there is semen in prejaculate.  I would suggest looking into another method if you are truly are trying to prevent.

Next question is how do you determine your ovulation?

That is what I need to know to even begin to contemplate your particular situation, MiaMyAmore

HI, WELL I HAVE BEEN HAVING SIGNS OF PREGNANCY, MY BREASTS ARE GETTING BIGGER AND SOMETIMES EVEN SORE, I HAVE BEEN FREQUENTLY URINATING, IM ALWAYS HUNGRY, AND SLEEPY AND I JUST BEEN HAVING REAL BAD STOMACHE PAINS AND IS THINKING ITS MY PERIOD. ITS LIKE IT FEELS LIKE ITS ON BUT WHEN I GO TO THE BATHROOM THERE IS NOTHING THERE. ALSO HE DID PULL OUT BUT BOTH TIMES HE NUTTED RIGHT BY VAGINA AND COULD IT BE POSSIBLE THAT SOME OF IT GOT IN? I AM ONLY A WEEK LATE, BUT THAT IS NOT NORMAL BECAUSE MY PERIOD ALWAYS COMES ON TIME, AND I HAVEN'T TAKEN A TEST YET BECAUSE I AM THINKING THAT MY PERIOD WILL SOON COME ON. I MEAN I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW IT FEELS BECAUSE I NEVER BEEN PREGNANT BEFORE.

Hi I have really sore errect nipples and they've gotten slightly bigger, I am always tired and hungry, feeling sick, going to the toilet a lot. I have had this for the past 3-4 weeks. It could of been possible I was pregnant as I did have unprotected sex a few times but today I have come on my period, but it is full with clots. Very stringy and very clotty. What could this be?
