Every now and again whilst browsing the web, I come across a really good blog; yesterday, I came across a really great blog.
In The Expectant Father, Mr C narrates his life as an expectant, and very recently, new father.
One post in particular really caught my eye; The Expectant Father details his feelings as he watched his wife endure the ordeal of labour and goes on to outline which methods of pain relief she opted for.
As I read his wonderfully touching post, it not only brought me right back to the memory of my own three labours but also made me realise that hard as it was for me, my husband went through it all too - without the mind-altering benefits of pain relief!
Well, as I've recently been expanding my website to add lots of pregnancy articles, I thought I would contact Mr C to see if he would be willing to let me repost his work on the Pregnancy Stories section of my site.
You can't begin to imagine how pleased I was when he agreed to my request. I truly believe Labour Day - Through the Eyes of a Dad is a genuinely touching review of labour and birth which will be of great benefit to both pregnant women and expectant fathers.
So thanks Mr C for agreeing to let me publish your wonderful story.
