Like the look of my easter balls? Keep scrolling…. I have two recipes for you today including my I quit sugar appropriate RAW CHOCOLATE EASTER EGGS! I know right?
Make a jar up of these delicious easter balls and gift to your friends and family this easter. So very easy to make (I have Livvi rolling these with me in the kitchen last night) and so very tasty. Here's your recipe.
1/4 cup of cacao
1 1/2 cups of medjool dates, seeds removed.
1/2 cup of cacao butter
1 cup of shredded coconut
*this recipe is not sugar free.
Blend cacao, dates and cacao butter in a food processor. Roll teaspoon size amounts in your hands until a ball forms and then roll in coconut. Makes roughly 30 balls.
AND NOW…… drumroll please!
My raw Easter Eggs
Ok, these are a little fiddly but if you are up for the challenge, go for it!
1/2 a banana
1/4 cup raw cacao
1 cup cacao butter
(rice syrup optional – depending on how sweet you like them)
*this recipe is 'I Quit Sugar' friendly.
Blend all ingredients in a food processor or with a blender.
Spoon mixture into moulds and place into the freezer. Leave enough mix to use later to stick the halves together.
Once set, pop out of the egg moulds and join the halves.
Pop back into the freezer until ready to serve.
They are best served very cold.
