Cramps for a couple days, released brown discharge, a day later, started releasing a tiny bit of "red" blood? Normal?

Posted by Rebecca

Is this normal? I started cramping three or four days before I was supposed to start my period. Then the day after I started cramping early, I released brown discharge. Then a day later, I'd release normal "red"discharge. This lasted about three to four days (not long at all and I wouldn't release much discharge when this happened)..brown discharge one day, red discharge the next day, brown discharge the third day! I'm not even sure if this was a normal period. I started taking prenatals because my husband and I are trying for a baby. Before this happened, I really thought I was pregnant. I wasn't sure if it had something to do with me taking the prenatals or not. What is it? I need help!

do you know when you ovulated and what your intercourse timing looks like for this cycle?
I ovulated a couple weeks ago (according to the ovulation calculator) and had intercourse the whole week trying to get pregnant. I was supposed to start my period a couple days ago, but ended up starting a few days early (which only lasted three days). I'm not sure if that was even a normal period (I only released brown discharge when I normally would have my period). Is it possible that I could be pregnant? Should I take a pregnancy test?!
I HAD MY PERIOD THIS WEEK AND HAD INTERCOURSE THE DAY I THOUGHT IT WAS OFF NOW IM HAVING A DARK RED BROWNISH DISCHARGE WANT COULD IT BE.
