There is no chance of conception prior to ovulation simply because there isn't any egg for the sperm to meet.
so not true!!! sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days!!! therefore if you have sex 5 days before ovulation then you can still get pregnant. its like having the sperm wait on the egg to come....

that life span of sperm ONLY applies when there is fertile cervical fluid-- which isn't possible five days prior to ovulation.

A woman has a five day fertile window and that takes into account sperm in fertile cervical fluid and the 24 hour period that an egg survives without being fertilized.  The five days are three days before, the day of and and the day after ovulation.

Any other time a woman simply isn't fertile

That is not true dayzofrain. Scientific studies show that it is just not as common as 3 days after intercourse. The chances of pregnancy taking place five days after intercourse are a little less than the chances being 3 days after intercourse.
Also.. Fertile cm can definitely occur five days before ovulation.

Wow. Dayzofrain...Do your homework before posting. You are very incorrect. I got pregnant

having sex 4 days before ovulation, and I have a freind who got PG having sex 5 days before.
