CD4: A slice of random.

Posted Aug 29 2012 1:23pm

I made my first quiche last night: Martha Stewart’s very easy broccoli and cheddar quiche.

Seriously tasty.

Not too shabby.

Aunt Flo is slowly making her exit, but she’s taking her sweet ass time about it. It’s like she’s got to go through every room of our house, double-checking and rechecking that no, she didn’t leave her hairbrush in the office or her pair of socks in the bathroom. Just when you think she’s about to leave, it’s another 20-minute teary goodbye or some other thing she forgot.

Ugh, Aunt Flo, sometimes you are the worst.

I’m working on a new eBook. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a sneaky-peek. I’m hoping to release it for sale here in my Shop sometime next week, that is, if inDesign cooperates.

PS – Did you know I sell eBooks? (I’m a terrible self-promoter. I should do that more often.) I sell eBooks . And products from Circle+Bloom . Check ‘em out. Buy yours today.

Speaking of Circle+Bloom, I’m listening to their Egg + Embryo Donation Program For the Hopeful Parent . I listen to it each night before I go to sleep. There are over a dozen different tracks, each lined up for unique points along your treatment cycle… and it’s amazing. Deep sleep like I’ve never had in my life – no more billions of buzzing, worrying thoughts that keep me awake all night. I’ve been listening to it for about 2 weeks now, and it’s incredible.

In full disclaimer, I received a free copy of the program ages ago, but even had I paid for it – I would still be telling y’all the same things. Seriously, this program has put me in a calmer state of mind about this whole shebang.

I started a pinboard of baby stuff on Pinterest . A chancy gamble, I know – but I kind of can’t help myself.

PVED: Parents Via Egg Donation . Do you know about it? Have I mentioned how much I love their forums? I love their forums. I’m over there as MiriamsHope. Come say hi.

. . .

Nearly 800 people like my Facebook page . Well, knock me over with a feather. You know what would be cool? If I could get that many Likes at the RESOLVE New England Facebook page . (Total desperate plug for likes. You know you want to.)

And because this post wasn’t random enough, here’s a video of Larry & me riding Segways in Montreal:
