If you take ibuprofen, it appears in your breast milk in very small amounts. It is unlikely to cause any harm to your baby.

You should seek further advice from your doctor before taking ibuprofen if your baby was born prematurely, had a low birth weight, or has any other medical condition.

If you have any concerns about this information, or need any help understanding it and relating it to your own situation, you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
