I had mono when I was 18. It took me quite a while to get over it. For about two years I wrestled with fatigue and decreased immunity. In my 30s I have been pregnant 3 times, including right now. I am a active, healthy person, but during each pregnancy, I had extreme fatigue and a decreased immunity. My last pregnancy, I would run out of breath just walking up the stairs. I had 5 colds, the flu, and bronchitis. They checked me for anemia thinking that may be the problem but it was normal. Now I am going though the same thing all over. I look around and see that my situation is apparently worse than other pregnant people, and I am just looking for an answer. Could it be because I had mono as a teenager??
