Brown discharge at 16 weeks pregnant but have no pain.

I started dischargeing brown yesterday, i have no pain at all but this is day 2 now and im still continueing. Its not loads, only when i wipe. Im 16 weeks pregnant! i went hospital and heard babys heart beat etc, a doctor was going to see me but he was really bizy and i had to go back to my son. Please is this normal?? sarah
