I have recently been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. About a year ago, I had a miscarriage, which I have now learned is somewhat common on pcos. I'm wondering why the cysts (follicles) couldn't be seen during my prenatal ultrasounds. I had been on birth control pills for several years & got pregnant almost immediately after stopping. Could the oc's have been keeping pcos in check & it's only now manifesting itself now that I'm off of them?
