Bo is sitting next to me as I start this post this morning. One look at the photos I uploaded into this post and he was very excited, “Hey! We made those!” Yes, we did.
If I haven’t managed to convince you yet that Pinterest is amazing, maybe this post will do it for you. Some people will say that Pinterest is a waste of time, but for me, it really isn’t. My kids love many of the random creations I find there. Plus, I use the app on my phone, so I can scroll through the photos while I’m waiting in line to pick Bo up from school, before I go to sleep, or just whenever. I’ve tried to organize my personal boards a bit and even started a “Pins Completed” board.
Sure, the projects on Pinterest look more professional. The photography is definitely better – but our projects were just as enjoyable.
For Bo’s Halloween Party, we made:
I tested these out on my kiddos with their feet, and then ended up doing hands at the preschool party so the girls wouldn’t have to take off their tights. How cute are little feet ghosts ?
added Jack-o-Lantern faces to little cuties to take as treats for the party. All but one of the oranges was consumed and the carrots and dip went over surprisingly well too given the other options were filled with sugar sweet goodness.
