A mixture of things

Posted Oct 13 2009 10:04pm
Wow! I had such a great weekend! Saturday, Holly and I went to Universal/IOA and were able to ride all of the rides in one day! The park was practically empty so the longest wait was 15 minutes. That's my favorite time to go to a theme park - when they're practically empty. The new rollercoaster was pretty good. The scariest part of the rollercoaster is the climb in the beginning. The coaster ascends at a 90 degree angle and then drops going 65 mph. If you ever find yourself in Florida - make your way to universal for this ride.

Saturday evening we came home and crashed. Our feet and legs were so sore from walking the park all day.

Sunday was spent with my younger sister who just arrived from Michigan. She'll be living here with my mom from now on. This makes me happy. We are very close and now I can keep a close eye on her. lol

In other news - I really enjoy keeping in touch with my bloggers through other social networks. Because of this - I would like to direct your attention to the right side of my page >>>>>. I have finally set up a twitter account and I am just starting to use it. Also... I do have facebook. If you're interested in 'friending' me on facebook just let me know and I will send you the link to my profile.

As a baby update - I am almost finished with my cycle. This break was just what we needed. I have been able to track what I would consider early pregnancy symptoms during the two weeks after ovulation. This will tell me which symptoms could be pregnancy related and which ones are related to AF. So far - my breasts have been sore, I've been very tired, moody, and will sometimes get nauseous. Apparently, progesterone is the culprit. If your body produces high amounts of progesterone, you can experience pregnancy like symptoms. I feel good in knowing that my hormones are doing what they are suppose to be doing but I hate that I can no longer rely on the early signs to diagnose my pregnancy. So in my next two week wait, I will have to ignore the sore breasts, the fatigue, the nauseousness and the mood swings. We'll see how that goes.

Our next cycle will probably begin on Oct 12th and our 1st insem will begin on the 25th. I'm looking forward to jumping back in again but I'm also nervous because of my unstable work environment. We'll see how it pans out. If its meant to be then it will be. Right?
