Despite the fact that my weight is the same as it was just a few days after retrieval, you can see the obvious start of a belly pooch. I'm still wearing regular jeans in this picture and they make me look like I have more of a muffin top than a pooch. Definitely time to drag those maternity clothes upstairs -- both for comfort and to make it look like I'm pregnant, not just expanding...
Just for sake of comparison, here I am at the same stage with Bo. And yes, the picture is awful -- I have a much better camera now. But don't I look young? I hate ageing!
We took these pictures on Saturday morning, before we left to spend the weekend with Mike's best friend and his family (Grandma and Grandpa Weitl met us there). I just love that I'm holding Bo in a maternity picture. I stood in that same spot so many times to have Mike take pictures of my belly growing with Bo and now my belly gets to grow again with Bo on the outside. That is pretty exciting!

This isn't the best picture of Bo and me but I want to draw your attention to my chest area -- no not my boobs -- get your head out of the gutter -- but can you read what it says? "My pod has two peas." It seems like I'm tempting fate by wearing this shirt so early, but at the same time, it's cute, and everyone I saw this weekend knows about our pregnancy, so I took the leap and wore the shirt.
