I am 40 years old, and delivered a full-term baby September 9th, stillborn, but without any complications for me. I got what I would call a normal to a bit heavy period 4 weeks after my lochia was over. My period has always been very predictable. Now, a week before my period is due, I started having cramping and brown-almost-black-stringy-discharge (blood?) last night, Nov 16th. This morning I had some more stringy stuff with increasing amounts of what I'd guess is normal red period blood in a normal seeming flow amount. When I searched on brown stringy bleeding online I came up with a bunch of stuff about pre-implantation bleeding. I had been wondering if I was pregnant for about two weeks because of nausea, light dizziness, lack of balance and that heavy in the belly feeling I get when I am first pregnant. Should I be concerned, buying a pregnancy test, or calling a doctor?
