I picked up one of these Prairie Underground hoodie/jackets in San Fransisco a while ago, and I've been obsessed with it ever since. It is the thickness of a really nice hoodie with the length of a long jacket. I have two- one is black with brown stitching and the other is the one in this photo. The hood is large with drawstring, the pockets are deep, and the zipper is quality.
Prairie Underground is a clothing company owned by designers Davora Lindner and Camilla Eckersley based in Portland, Oregon. They also have many other different styles of jackets, tunics, leggings, and dresses available. Think organic hipster meets undercover Laura Ingles Wilder. You can look on their site for shops that carry their line near you.
This hoodie is perfect for wearing when travelling, going to the store, or layering over your outfit on the way to pilates! It gives you butt coverage and warmth while not adding bulk to your frame.
They come out with this hoodie in a new color about once every season, and they always sell out right away! Check out their site for retailers near you, and their other great designs: http://www.prairieunderground.com/
