Short stubby legs!

As an islander girl, I've got the genes that let my legs be the first site of gaining inches, whereas every other body part is okay. What could I do to help tone legs that are prone to gain inches? Any certain leg workouts/stretches/techniques?

Try yoga. I've always heard that yoga was best for creating a long lean look. I'm kind of short too so I share your problem and yoga or Pilates works best for me.
