Back Pain? Try Pilates

If you have a lot of back pain one thing that is helpful is to strengthen your core muscles. Pilates no only does this but stretches you as well. When I finish with a work out I always hold myself more erect for the day and it diminished the pain I can sometimes feel in my back. If you haven't tried Pilates, sign up for a class or check out a DVD from your local library. I recommend, Rael System 7 or Mari Winsor 20 minute workout for beginners. If you get FitTV on your television, look through their listings and give it a whirl.
