swollen finger joints

Posted by gillymoss

Both of my thumb joints are swollen and painful and extremely stiff. I cannot easily bend my fingers, and they too are stiff and swollen.

Painful joints are common and usually indicate joint degeneration. The joint does not produce enough synovial fluid and cartilage begins to rub against cartilage causing it to tear. Glucosamine has been well researched for its effectiveness in helping to delay joint degeneration, and in some cases, trials show that it can even help restore cartilage to some extent. You may want to try a joint supplement like GoFlex which contains glucosamine, as well as other nutrients and herbs that help support joint health, reduce joint pain and inflammation. If you’re looking for fast pain relief, GoFlex comes with a topical cream containing an FDA-approved ingredient called capsaicin which works immediately for quick pain relief.
