On 9/11 I got a Color ImageCLASS Laser printer, what an awesome mean printing machine. I hooked it up to our houses phone line for faxing and its hooked into the router for network printing. scanning double sided stuff is a cinch. One lovely thing about this machine is you can scan right into your computer without even touching the computer. I love this BFP! Unboxing video below will tell you what a BFP is.
I got my drivers permit as you can see in the photo above. On Sunday I went to drive for the first time in a huge parking lot, there were a few cars there so it wasn’t totally empty. I caught onto throttling and steering fast, but parking needs to be focused on and making turns that go straight into a stop sign along with braking. I brake too early and too jerky, not smooth enough. Still did great for a first time and didn’t put dad through the windshield!
Me with it case opened
Yes thats me holding a 7 Inch Kindle Fire HD. Kursed Kindle Fire HD to be exact. I ordered two of them on 9/11 and they never shipped out so on Thursday I was told by a supervisor to place two more orders, didn’t get marked as shipped, then they went and put in an order for Saturday delivery. Well what do you know, Friday morning UPS tracking states 4 Kindles headed for my house, they all get intercepted, which sucked, I could have had it release day. Then saturday they finally arrive, I open one and it has a defective screen, wonderful. I open the other one and play around with it, definitely not the best tablet experience, at least for someone like me. It is heavily tied into the amazon structure and if you don’t use amazon for everything your pretty much out of luck. Especially if you use Google Play for Music. Sure you could wait for the root kits to come out and then void your warranty, or you could just get a Google tablet. I did the latter, got myself and my vet a Nexus 7.
Heres the review I posted on Amazon.
“I received my Amazon Kindle Fire HD yesterday and today it is boxed up ready to be returned. Why? because it offers some great things but there are somethings that just break the deal.
The screen is an amazing screen, 720P Corning Gorilla Glass. You bet, the display produces great eye candy.
So if your a die hard amazon customer who doesn’t need to customize the hell out of their tablet and just wants a low cost tablet with big bang for the buck and dont mind being locked into Amazon’s ecosystem, then Kindle Fire HD has it for you.
If you are not a diehard amazon customer (I am, admittably a die hard prime user) but not really a die hard music or movies person, and ebooks, i want freedom. I customize stuff, hack it, break it, reflash it, trash it, and reflash it again. I like screwing with bootloaders, that simple! good luck doing that on a Fire HD. and if you cant stand being in a locked down ecosystem without customization then the Fire HD is not for you, I would consider a Nexus 7 at that point.”
Laura B with a big bottle of SKYY
So a friend of mine has $30 dollars to burn and states shes headed to the liquor store to burn it up and that she can buy me a late birthday present with it. This friend specifically Laura B, an aviation nerd friend of mine who lives near me. I immediately told her to buy a bottle of SKYY, well here it is. She’s holding a big 1.75L bottle of SKYY VODKA. Now that’s a LOTA VODKA. I use the stuff as a drug, 30-60ml (1-2) shots nightly to help with sleep, muscle spasticity, and anxiety. it works damn well too. And its a drug that has been around for over 700 years, so we all know very well what it does and how it works. And we all know too damn well what it does if its misused. Control it correctly and your blood, heart, and body can benefit.
Holding it up
Ah, there we go. A tablet worth my keeping. A Google Nexus 7, pure android tablet just like the Google Galaxy Nexus phones. It’s practically a Nexus phone but with one huge screen! I heard they might be coming out with a 10 inch tablet but at 10 inches I consider it no longer a tablet and consider it a nettop / netbook. 10 inches is less than optimal for portability. My 7 inch tablet is easily held in on hand using a hand strap akin to what UPS drivers have, in fact when I have it in the case with the hand strap and am walking around doing my medical inventory I feel like I should damn well be working for UPS. Just need a barcode scanner on the end of it, ha ha. Something tells me that soon UPS or FEDEX will be using android based phones or tablets. hell, stick a hand strap on the back of a Google Galaxy Nexus and put the UPS software on it, bam, phone, UPS tracking thingy, all in one unit. Did you know those UPS guys have to carry both a cell and the big tracking thingy, how awkward is that! I did a unboxing video of my Nexus, here it is.

Two boxes one me!Down below is my Klipsch S4i and S4a unboxing and review. Above is a picture of me with the beastly headsets. These things pack huge bass and awesome sound but thats only HALF of the equation. Behind the boxes is world class Klipsch customer service. They stand behind the product no matter what. Their warranty on headsets is unheard of, most manufacturers warranty headsets much more conservatively than 1 year because of how headsets are used, they are not exactly treated like you would treat something like studio speakers. But they still manage to push a 1 year warranty on them. All you need is your proof of purchase off the box and a receipt, if something goes wrong send an email to email@example.com and they will be all over it. If you have problems with your headset and your device send an email there and they will do whatever they can to get it working. This makes Klipsch the only choice for headsets, at least in my opinion. Wonderful sound, Wonderful support behind that sound. What more can you ask for?
