Today I am wearing my
Woods Hole oceanographic Institute sweatshirt. I really miss the ocean and Cape Cod today. I look around my room at the wooden ships and my ship in a bottle and can't help feeling like that ship some days.
Maybe it's the fall weather, who know's. Listening to Jimmy Buffett's "boats to build" probably does not help, damn playlist anyway. I miss getting home from work early loading the dog in the Jeep, going down to the Cape Cod Canal and pulling in my lobster traps. Then fishing for striped bass with a cold beer in my hand watching the sun go down. I'm definitely feeling my disability today and this post is starting to sound like a whine....
Fortunately I have another dog laying beside my wheelchair that wants to go outside and enjoy the sunshine here. Think I'll take a few days off from blogging and be back at it on Monday.
